Current Projects
Light Up Leigh is a creative winter event that brings joy, hope and light to Leigh town centre during the darkest time of year. Through performance, projection and community celebration, it connects people and celebrates what is possible when we come together. From bold installations to lantern processions, Light Up Leigh spotlights local talent and youth-led imagination.
Light Up Leigh is produced by Down to Earth, Wigan’s Creative People and Places programme, in partnership with Spirix and Wigan Council. It is funded by Arts Council England and UKSPF.
