Every March, we rise up, come together, and raise the energy across the borough. The festival brings schools, communities, and professional artists together to celebrate dance in all its forms.
Inclusive and inviting, Wigan Borough Dance Festival has a place for every performer. From expert workshops and mass warm-ups, to youth-led choreography and professional performance - we deliver first-class dance to Wigan Borough.
The Wigan Borough Dance Festival is hosted at The Edge, supported by Wigan Council, funded by Arts Council England and proudly sponsored by Edge Hill University. More than just a multi-day festival - it is a shared moment of borough-wide pride.
